Description

Ruins embody decay and its mystery in interior architecture. Partially demolished or abandoned spaces are normatively appraised in terms of their imperfections. Can appreciation of ruins’ aesthetic moments help design a way a harmonious union between ruins and their surroundings? This project proposes a temporary spatial installation across the ruins village in Ma Wan designed around the opening as a medium to view how humans, nature, and time change ruins.
