Description

“Metabolism” in architecture refers to continuing growth or change in building. Space should not be fixed since it was built. However, due to the complexity and difficulty, metabolism faded after the 1970s. Inspired by this, can metabolism be applied in interior design nowadays will become my capstone project. My project is a narrative project about my personal life and living space. Times goes to 15 years ago as a starting point, a new living system will be designed based on the needs and programs of my family. The system will focus on the design of the morphology of the spatial structure and furniture. By reforming, cracking and re-constructing the morphology of furniture and structure to create a new living form in the time journey.
