Description

A brand new wayfinding solution that uses digital screens and focuses on information variability and choreography.

The Dynamic Wayshowing System is a wayshowing system that can update its information and adapt to different situations that could occur in a metro system. The Dynamic Wayshowing System uses digital screens instead of lightboxes, thus enabling information variability and choreography. This makes the signage system more flexible. It is also more informative and engaging for travelling passengers, making train journeys more enjoyable. Information is redesigned and reorganised so that the dynamic wayshowing system can reach its full potential. The metro system is a sign of the spirit of the city. The introduction of the dynamic wayshowing system can enhance the travelling experiences. It also is an interpretation and expression of the spirit of Hong Kong, further demonstrating the city’s efficiency and excellence. This project also aims to set new industry standards for wayshowing projects. The wayfinding and travelling experiences are reimagined.
