Description

The purpose of this research is to optimise the living environment and provide better living condition in Hong Kong. As urban living space shrinks and the well-being of individuals becomes increasingly difficult to achieve. We believe that small-space lifestyles do not necessarily need to compromise on wellbeing. Therefore, the final outcome of the project aims to explore solutions that may one day help create practical, inviting homes that would help to contribute to the physical and mental wellbeing of people living a small-space lifestyle. By understanding the user needs to uncover the challenges, and develop user centric designs solution(s) that can be made that can improve the living environment and improve their quality of life and overall wellbeing, hence the experience of spending time at home.
