Description

“Providing an opportunity for young people who are affected by fake news to reflect on themselves and build up critical thinking while playing our training game.” From the very first beginning to now the hidden message that we wanted to promote to the people has never changed. We hoped our design can help people to enjoy their life and “Live Present”, in Chinese is “活在當下“. We hoped we could create some meaningful design to help people clarify the truth and not waste time on something inaccurate and fake. So we created a story-based training game that helps young people to bring up awareness of fake news and critical thinking towards social media. In our idea, we want to create a narrative-driven AVG and detective training game for imitating social media. In-game design concepts, we create an interactive satirical story like ‘Animal Farm’, ‘Black Mirror’ to inspire youngsters to think more on real-time social media and explore the area that they have not explored before.
