Description

The island of grief is a story about a girl in mourning is going to an imaginary space in her dream. There are five spaces designed as a spatial sequence based on the different stages of grief: 1. Denial 2. Anger 3. Bargaining 4. Depression 5. Acceptance. Spaces are created to emphasise on the characteristics of each stage by manipulating and control light and shade, layering elements to generate different atmospheres playing with the destiny of space in association with the various emotional stages of grief. In addition, the design has also considered how the light will go into spaces at a particular moment to create a unique scenario based on the story.
