Dreaming is an everyday practice which takes ⅓ lifespan. Some dreams are precious to us because we may dream of someone we missed. However, from first hand research, only a few people have a habit of recording dreams by writing on paper, type or audio recording on phones. From second hand research, existing dream journal apps are only keeping the information of what users inputted. Adding to the finding that the majority like to share their dreams with others, the research triggers my intention of creating an app to turn the inputted information to dynamic visuals as a medium of dream journal, as well as creating a community for people to talk about dreams. Able to raise public awareness of dreaming experience efficiently, able to keep records systematically and able to provide a new post-dreaming experience are the reasons for creating an app instead of other media. This project includes identity design, app design, motion graphics design and promotional design.
