Learning from the Construction Worker

What is your impression of the Construction Workers? Heroic character? Dark skin? Tough appearance? The public will easily make a stereotypical conclusion about people based on their own fixed concepts. "Misunderstanding is based on not understanding." --- I noticed that netizens at the online discussion forum often make negative comments about construction workers, but I think we should first understand them before making judgment. Therefore, I chose to learn from their daily life and try to understand them better. Through this project, I hope to design some ways to let the public know about the stories behind the workers’ daily routines at the construction site.

地盤工人給你什麼印象？豪邁的性格？黝黑的皮膚？粗獷的外表？大眾都會基於自己既定的概念，習慣地對別人快下定論。「誤解，基於不了解。」--- 我留意到網上討論區有很多網民對地盤工人作出負面的評價，但我認為應該先了解，才對別人作出論述。所以，我選擇直接向地盤工人學習，嘗試記錄他們的日常。透過這習作，我希望設計一些方法，令大家了解地盤工人在工地的生活和他工作背後的故事。
