Description

In 2020, more than 4% of the world's population are severely visually impaired or totally blind. They are either tied to a fixed range of activities by their disease or by a lack of community facilities, making it difficult for them to reach unfamiliar places they have never been.

POLARIS is here to provide a navigation solution for individuals with visual impairments, with the primary objective of guiding them through unfamiliar places. Polaris provides users with both directional and distance information.

Furthermore, with the tactile navigation user can eliminate the disturbance from busy street, crowded people and other interference.
