Description

The main goal of this research project is to increase players' engagement and satisfaction with the game experience and reduce their likelihood of abandoning the game. We hope to improve the overall game environment and user satisfaction with the game in two ways. One is to make the AI teammate play an effective and efficient role as users’ partners to help them reduce the possibility of meeting with misbehavioral teammates who can trigger toxic emotions. Two is setting a social robot for users to self-disclose after playing the games in which social robots can provide affordance functions like therapeutic conversation etc, by giving supportive and healing feedback to players with negative and toxic emotions, thereby gaining user trust and bringing the user closer and thus properly guiding the user to self-disclosure of negative emotions, and end with improving the impact of negative and toxic emotions on other players' teammates and enhancing benign development of game environment
