Description

According to Census and statistics Department of Hong Kong, there are around 10% families in Hong Kong have keep a pet. However, in recent year, the number of abandoned pet keep increasing. Social phenomena such as immigration wave, city development project, covid and economic depression are believed the main reasons leading to this result. This project aims to raise the awareness of abandoned pet issue and encourage people to consider carefully before having pets as it is a lifelong promise and responsibility. Therefore, no matter any change happens in life, pet owners should try their best to keep their pet. However, when change happens and people decided to abandon, to find SPCA or other animal organisations for help but not abandon it on the street.
