Description

Do you know the weight of a double-decker bus? It is about 15 tonnes. The weight of a double-decker bus is equivalent to the weight of non-recyclable discarded masks that goes to landfills EVERY DAY. To cease this waste cycle, RECOMASK aims to target both the existing plastic pollution by recycling it into a purposeful material and establishing an education system that would help prevent more waste from entering the ecosystems in the future. The collected masks from high public areas are recycled into 3D printer filament to be used for educational purposes. All educational materials, including a computer game and book, are designed based on our primary and secondary research to draw the highest possible engagement from the students. RECOMASK is more than just about recycling masks: It’s about changing the community mindset to prioritize sustainability in all aspects of life! Green Education Starts with Us!
