SUSTAINABLE & HAMONIOUS COMMUNITY REACTIVATING SCHEME Hi, We are Doctor Woven! What do you think about revitalization in Hong Kong? According to our research results, we found that many people gave a negative stand on it, however, the experts stand oppositely. Obviously, there is a communication gap between users and designers. Here, let me introduce a new proposal for REACTIVATING the community. During the reactivation process, we will act as a community doctor. By understanding the situation of a place, site context, and community networks, we can generate the design together with the public by one of our important key methods, CO-CREATION. Co-creation will help to generate a win-win design among the public and stakeholders. We choose 13 STREETS as our first prototyping model. By considering the daily practice of the users, promoting new programs, searching the site-oriented material, and even developing the business operation, we can preserve the SITE CONTEXT and COMMUNITY NETWORK

This is a Community Reactivating Project which is located in an old place, the 13 Streets in To Kwa Wan, Kowloon. The main idea of this project is interconnecting people through intense co-creation and making site-specified designs. The reactivating scheme focuses on co-creation and local culture. There are several important components in this project, they are Online design platform, local material selection and material adaptation in design.
