Description

As I am working as a fencing coach in the fencing club that I learn, I spot out students feeling bored or lack of concentration in lessons. Therefore, I wanted to redesign the original training mode, think of new mode in order to make current student fencers enjoy more and learn fencing faster. I review my whole fencing journey of the previous 10 years and sum up different training strategies which I believe is important for a successful fencer, like companion and achievements. Then, I start interview current student fencers and coach's view on current training mode. After that, I divide the training mode into Beginners; Intermediate; Advanced; Expert groups. Based on the views of the student fencers and coach, adjust the organization and schedule of the divided training modes. At the same time, I test my redesign prototype training plan on different groups of student fencers, ask about their feelings and keep on modifying.
