In Hong Kong, the planting trend is getting more popular. A lot of people start to participate in the leisure agricultural field as it can help them to destress from city life. According to the City Farm survey in 2019, 47% of newbie farmers often give up because of low motivation and failure. Plantastic is an applications and an interactive device that aims to enhance the motivation and capability of the beginners who want to plant at home and treat their plant like a pet.
