Description

COVID-19 has influenced how people use the space for more than a year since 2019. This is a significant moment of a global history where people have became more aware of social distance means. Inside of a Metro is one of the places where there is a huge risk of spreading Corona Viruses. Despite the fact that millions of people use their system, the metro spaces are narrow and overcrowded. In order to prevent the further spread of the virus, flow of the people should be reprogrammed in more systematic way. This CMTS proposed in this project rethinks the meaning of each traffic signs and transform their graphic elements into a three-dimentional quality. All elements become social measure, meaning a two meter distance between each individual within the space. In this new designed system, the freedom of pedestriants would be limited. The movement will be controlled and directed with either walking faster, walking slower, or maintaining very specific distancing.
