People nowadays feel stressed and depressed in their daily lives, especially during this special period, affected by the social issue and the pandemic. Undoubtedly, it is impossible for us to ignore the negative matters, but we should find a way to regulate our mindset so as to pull ourselves away from reality. Otherwise, in the long term, the negative emotion might be harmful to their health. Amit Goldenberg, a psychological professor, stated that “It seems that the best way to regulate your emotions is to start with the selection of your environment ”. It seems that we can actively determine what can influence our emotions. Play the Joy is a variety show branding project which aims to deliver joy and happiness to Hong Kong young adults like a gift, from virtual into realistic. The brand images could be applied to different platforms which provides an opportunity for the Hong Kong young adults to regulate and comfort their emotion, and release stress.
