Daily Story and Puzzle -

Project Description

The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited (Towngas) was founded in 1862 and was Hong Kong’s first public utility.

To alleviate the impact of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, during which people have been suggested to stay at home, this project relays positive messages and provides resources to children, parents, and teachers.

Digital Media students produced two animations for this project: “Daily Life” and “Puzzle.” “Daily Life” emphasises the need to think positively and enjoy daily life during the pandemic. “Puzzle” encourages young children during their online learning and expresses our gratitude to medical staff.

Early Intervention and Community Support Project -

Project Description

In 2020, the Centre for Adolescent Mental Health Prevention and Intervention established a project entitled “The Hong Kong Jockey Club Early Intervention and Community Support Project for Parents.” This project aims to promote parents’ mental health and increase public awareness about the importance of maintaining families’ mental health.

The student team created a video about the daily life of irascible parents and their children. This was intended to raise awareness about the link between bad parental behaviour and poor family mental health, to reduce the stigma associated with seeking help from professionals, and to create an accepting, respectful, normal, and positive environment for behavioural changes and mental recovery in such parents.
