Description

As the population ages, an increasing number of people will suffer from dementia, and the number of dementia caregivers will have to increase as well. My final year project aim to develop a self-help tips for the caregivers who have family members suffer from dementia, the content including the related information of Dementia, basic caregiving skills, self- help tips, home reminder stickers and professional support from the Jockey Club as well. Through my book design, I hope that people will also concerned about other elderly in this society, instead of just take care of their aging parents, let people understand the pressures which caregiver facing.

隨著人口老化，越來越多的老人患有腦退化症，同時護理人員的數量也將不斷增加。這個書籍設計項目，我希望為腦退化症患者的照顧者提供自助錦囊，內容包括介紹癡呆症的常見行為和心理症狀，基礎照顧技巧要訣，預防走失貼士，家居提示標誌以及專業支援服務。希望通過此設計，人們多關心這個社會的老人，同時了解照顧者面臨的壓力等等。
