Description

In the era when the virus is spreading, the doomsday seems to step up to human again. 2359 is an art direction project that abstracts doomsday images through algorithms and forms a series of visual communication systems to provide new media applications in doomsday-themed works. What does the doomsday look like? Movies and books have given us a different doomsday fantasy. Jacques Derrida, a French philosopher, originated the “Deconstruction”, once said “The world has never a fixed and unchanging essence. Everything is indefinable and full of variables." Perhaps deconstructionism can explain the future for us. Looks like: The ending is still changing. "Deconstruction" refers to the division and decomposition of structure, but the result is a new structure. 2359 analyzes doomsday events, calculates and forms abstract visions, and finally applies them to works to bring out a brand new aesthetic of doomsday.
