Food, Craft and Recycling generate new transient Bulkeley

The Statement
Bulkeley street in Hung Hom are lively places where crowds of locals. They are crowded places with rows of snack store, theaters, dessert shop, and so on. They are indispensable places in cities, in both daytime and at night. At early morning local retired hawker secretly operate second hand market at Bulkeley, trading with people. Locals call it - Dawn market - places where old men and women selling second hand odds and ends gather together before dawn - have not been created through city planning; rather, they have arisen naturally.

In keeping with urban planner Hideaki Ishikawa’s dictum “Cities are people” (Toshi wa hito nari), one could say that people are what bring Dawn market into existence. Bulkeley are also places that honestly express their social settings. So, what will Bulkeley be like in the future?

With these things in mind, I elucidate a Bulkeley as I envisage it. This is a story and a proposal for new market that bring about the charms of Bulkeley.
